UAE to train 1 million medics for free

UAE plans to train over 1 million healthcare professionals for free, and the initiative is labeled 'waterfalls', a link to the website www.waterfalls.ae

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said the initiative is one of the ways UAE plans to support the international medical fraternity.
It is a remote learning initiative that will include 140 experts and 67 academics from training institutes across the globe.
The initiative will be supervised by Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
The topics offered are in various fields such as medicine, pharmacy, nutrition, public health, nursing, dentistry and hospital management.
Trainees will receive a certificate from the international scientific and academic bodies participating in the initiative.
