UAE normalizes relations with Israel

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, US President Donald J. Trump, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel spoke on Thursday and agreed to the full normalization of relations between Israel and the UAE.
The EU on Friday welcomed the agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates to normalize diplomatic ties, saying it would benefit both countries and help promote stability in the Middle East.
"It is important for both (countries) and for regional stability," a European Commission spokeswoman told a news briefing, according to Reuters.
"Both countries are our partners and of course ... we are committed to a two-state solution and we are of course ready to work on a resumption of the negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians."
Under the accord, which U.S. President Donald Trump helped broker, Israel agreed to suspend its planned annexation of areas of the occupied West Bank. - Source WAM
The City hall in Israeli's capital Tel Aviv displayed the UAE's flag in support of the agreement between the two counties.

The delegations from Israel and the UAE will meet in the coming weeks to sign deals on direct flights, security, telecommunications, energy, tourism, health care and other areas of mutual benefits, it is also noted that the two countries will partners in fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
The United States President, Donald Trump has tweeted out as a result of the agreement, and this may act as a huge boost to his chances at the upcoming elections.

There are talks for other counties in the Middle East to follow the lead of the UAE in normalizing relations with Israel.
