Indian stranded in the UAE will be allowed to fly from Dubai to India via Emirates

Emirates will operate flights to five Indian cities to help repatriation of indian citizen stranded in the UAE to fly back home. The Emirates flights will head to Bengaluru, Kochi, Delhi, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram starting from (today) August 20 until August 31. The Emirates special flights will help Indian citizens in the UAE who wish to go back home.

The special flights will be only for Indian citizens stranded in the UAE and they will fly from Dubai to the five Indian destinations.

However, the airlines said that flights from India to the UAE will be UAE nationals and also for residents who should obtain prior entry approval from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDFRA) for residents of Dubai and Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship ICA approval for residents of other emirates of the UAE, and whose final destination is the UAE.

The date and schedule of the Emirates airline repatriation flights back o India will be as following:

*Bengaluru: August 21, 23, 25, 28, and 30

*Kochi: August 20, 22, 24, 27, 29 and 31 (Flights from Kochi to Dubai will operate on August 21, 23, 25, 28, 30, and September 1.)

*Delhi: Daily flights until August 31

*Mumbai: Daily flights until August 31

*Thiruvananthapuram: August 26 (Flights from Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai will operate on August 27.

Flights from Dubai to India can be booked on the Emirates website or via travel agents. Passengers must meet all the entry requirements of the destination to be allowed to board the flights.

On the other hand, Covid-19 PCR tests are mandatory for all inbound and transit passengers arriving to Dubai (and the UAE), including UAE citizens, residents and tourists, irrespective of the country they are coming from.
