Germany reports 16,946 new coronavirus cases

BERLIN -- The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany increased by 16,946 to 1,908,527, data from the Robert Koch Institute for infectious diseases showed on Sunday.
The reported death toll rose by 465 to 40,343, the tally showed.
