Dubai police chief chaired EXPO 2021 Security Committee

Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri, Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, has chaired the Dubai Expo 2021 security committee .

Officials at the security committee meeting discussed the security and safety plans and regarding Dubai Expo 2021 event and also discussed the best way to provide highest security and safety during the event.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the global event has been postponed to 2021 and the rescheduled new dates calls for an opening on October 1, 2021.
