Dh 3,000 imposed by police for not wearing masks in public places

Ajman Police emphasized on the necessity of wearing masks in public places to avoid violations and fines of up to Dh 3,000 in case the person have removed the mask in public and closed places.


Not wearing a mask is allowed only in private areas or in restaurants while eating food or at the clinic where you require treatment in the areas of the face and during practicing sports.


The police aim to limit the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic among people, as authorities put all efforts to protect members of society, by applying precautionary measures, and everyone should follow them.


Ajman police officials said that masks can be removed inside a vehicle when family members inside or if the person is alone in the vehicle, or while eating in restaurants and exercising with the necessity of physical distancing, as well as while swimming with physical distancing.
