Ahmad Al Darmaki, a Emirati mixed martial arts fighter has been kicked out of the UAE warriors for pushing the referee Marc Goddard.

What lead to this was when Al Darmaki won a fight after his opponent tapped out, but Al Darmaki kept hold on him with a rear naked choke.

After Goddard stepped in to break Al Darmaki's hold, the Emirati turned against him, Al Darmaki grabbed the British referee by his collar and pushing him repeatedly, which caused the referee to disqualify Al Darmaki.

Al Darmaki was kicked out of the UAE Warriors shortly after, and Fouad Darwish, the general manager of Palms Sports who oversees the UAE Warriors said,

“The UAE Warriors stands committed to the nation and its people, and will continue to take strong action against any violation of the organisation’s code of conduct,”

He also said,

“The UAE Warriors regrets the actions of one fighter and acknowledges the highest level of professionalism displayed by the referee Marc Goddard.
