5-year Dubai visa for retirees in the UAE and from outside UAE

The most recent announcement of the 5-year Dubai visa for retirees in the UAE and outside UAE, which was announced recently.

The new residency rules state that expatriates over the age of 55 will be granted a five-year retirement visa if they meet a set of clauses. The visa will be valid for five years, with the possibility of renewal for those retirees who wish to stay longer, should they still meet the eligibility criteria.

Expatriates over the age of 55 will only be granted the five-year retirement visa if they meet any one of the following three clauses:

Having properties worth at least AED 2M

A minimum of AED 1M in savings

An active income of more than AED 20k per month
